This website is published on a non-professional basis by a private individual. In accordance with French law (article 6-III-2 of law no. 2004-575 of 21 June 2004), their identity has been provided to the hosting provider below.

Server located in OVHcloud's Beauharnois data centre (Quebec, Canada).

Personal data

tricotmail is a private, invitation-only service. It only processes the data it needs to work:

• your username and your password, stored only as a one-way hash;
• the contact addresses linked to your account and the tricotmail addresses you create;
• server logs (IP address, date, sender and recipient addresses of messages), used for security and delivery.

Messages are not kept on the server longer than needed to deliver them. Server logs are kept for at most one year. An account's data is deleted when the account is closed.

No data is sold, shared or used for advertising. The server is hosted in Canada, which the European Commission recognises as providing an adequate level of data protection.

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data by writing to contact@tricotmail.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).

Cookies

This site only uses a session cookie, which is strictly necessary to sign in. It uses no analytics, no advertising and no third-party services, so no consent is required.
